Auto-train troops
Tick the units you want in each village, and the bot keeps its Barracks, Stable and Workshop training them. The resources are shared out between buildings and units, so every unit you tick gets its turn.
Setting it up
- Open the village and go to the Troops tab. It shows the units of that village's tribe, grouped into Infantry, Cavalry and Siege.
- Under Train, tick the units you want.
- In Queue every, set how often the bot goes back to train more, as a range of minutes. Each wait is picked at random inside it.
- Tick Enable auto-training for this village. Next queue in counts down to the next round.
How the resources are split
The bot shares out what the village holds between all the units you ticked, so each one gets its turn, not just the cheapest.
How much to keep training
Each training building has a max hours box. The bot keeps up to that many hours of troops training there, and adds more once the queue goes down. Next to the box you see how long the building is already busy.
Left empty, as No limit, the bot spends all it can on troops every round.
- Leave room to build. Troops and the build queue use the same resources. With no limit, training can spend them before the next building level is paid for. A few hours in each building leaves room for both.
- Great Barracks and Great Stable. If the village has one, the units you ticked train there too, at three times the price, as the game charges in those buildings. Their max hours box works the same way.
Good to know
- Only researched units are trained. If the game doesn't offer a unit you ticked yet, the bot unticks it and marks it Not researched. Research it in the Academy and tick it again.
- Settlers and chiefs are not included. The bot trains the units of the Barracks, Stable and Workshop. Those of the Residence and the Palace are up to you.
- Watch your crop. The game lets you keep training when a village's crop production goes negative, and so does the bot. Keep an eye on it in villages that train a lot, or keep some crop in their NPC exchange split.
- One setup per village. An attack village can keep its Barracks busy all day while the others train a few scouts, each with its own units, timing and limits.
